This is my illustration for the Nigerian folk tale 'Anansi and the ant' on 5XK magazine. The story is about the burden that every person carries his own but also the responsibility of the community for the individual errors. I'm very happy to be part of this multi-cultural project and to learn different modes of storytelling.

Unfortunately I didn't win the Salani competition. But I'm still happy with the image that came up. The "Little History of the World" by Gombrich is such an evocative theme to work on.
